CESSDA50 Conference Programme

Abstract

The 50th Anniversary Conference of the Consortium of European Social Science Data Archives (CESSDA) will take place from June 15 to 18, 2026, in Bergen, Norway. Under the theme "Future-ready social science: Data, policy, and impact," the four-day event brings together researchers, data experts, policy actors, and funding partners to reflect on CESSDA's legacy and chart a shared vision for the future. The conference programme is structured around CESSDA's 2023-2027 strategic pillars: Data, People, and Landscape. The conference aims to strengthen CESSDA's role in the European Research Area and address key questions on supporting evidence-based policymaking through trustworthy, FAIR, and interoperable data services.
