Emission Factors Hub 2026

Abstract

This 2026 version of the Emission Factors Hub was produced following the same methodology as the EPA Emission Factors Hub January 2025 release version. This dataset is published here by Cornerstone in the interest of providing emission factors that reflect updated source data for ultimate use in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions calculations. The data are provided in the same PDF and excel format as previous releases. This release also includes the Emission Factors Hub in a machine readable format. The Emission Factors Hub 2026 includes the following updates since the January 2025 EPA release: Table 6: Electricity data updated using eGRID2024 Table 10: Air travel factors updated using Defra 2025 Table 11: Global Warming Potential (GWP) values updated using IPCC Sixth Assessment Report 2021 (AR6) Table 12: GWP for Blended Refrigerants updated using AR6 GWPs and updated blend composition data from the EPA Compositions of Refrigerant Blends webpage
