DESIGNING A CAPSULE COLLECTION FOR YOUTH WITH ELEMENTS OF SUSTAINABLE FASHION

Abstract

The contemporary fashion industry is undergoing a transformative shift toward sustainability due to increasing environmental concerns, changing consumer behavior, and the growing demand for ethical production practices. In this context, capsule collections have emerged as an effective solution for reducing overconsumption while maintaining individuality and style. This article examines the principles of designing a capsule collection for youth with elements of sustainable fashion. The research focuses on the integration of ecological materials, multifunctional garments, ethical manufacturing processes, and modern aesthetic trends relevant to young consumers. The study analyzes theoretical approaches to sustainable fashion, investigates international experiences in eco-design, and proposes practical methods for creating youth-oriented capsule wardrobes. Particular attention is paid to consumer psychology, minimalist fashion concepts, circular economy principles, and the influence of digital technologies on sustainable clothing design. The findings demonstrate that sustainable capsule collections not only reduce textile waste and environmental impact but also contribute to the development of conscious consumption among young people. The article concludes that combining sustainability with modern fashion trends can create commercially viable and socially responsible clothing collections suitable for the needs of the younger generation.
