Abstract

The Northeast Astronomy Forum and Space Expo (NEAF) was held in New York, United States. It focused on astronomy, space science, and advanced space technologies, bringing together researchers and specialists to discuss developments in fields such as solar physics, space weather, and satellite systems. Within this context, Cassiopeia Team Egypt participated by presenting a study on the impact of solar activity and space weather on modern technological infrastructure, with particular emphasis on satellite operations and GPS signal reliability. The study also addressed key mitigation strategies, including radiation shielding, radiation-hardened electronics, and space weather prediction models, aiming to improve the resilience and performance of space systems under varying solar conditions
