This dataset contains a merged monthly panel used to analyze cocoa price transmission, macroeconomic exposure, and local weather conditions relevant to smallholder cocoa resilience in Colombia. The panel harmonizes Colombian cocoa producer-linked prices, the world cocoa benchmark, the EU chocolate consumer price index, the COP/USD exchange rate, Brent oil prices, and NASA POWER weather variables for the San Vicente de Chucurí reference location in Santander, Colombia. The dataset is structured at monthly frequency and includes 795 observations from January 1960 to March 2026, with variable-specific coverage depending on source availability. Colombian cocoa prices are available from August 2021 to March 2026; world cocoa prices from January 1960 to February 2026; the EU chocolate index from December 2016 to December 2025; COP/USD exchange rates from November 1991 to March 2026; Brent oil prices from May 1987 to March 2026; and NASA POWER weather variables from January 2000 to December 2025. The file also includes logarithmic transformations for selected price and macroeconomic variables. The dataset supports the empirical analysis developed in the manuscript “Benchmark Transmission, Territorial Exposure, and Disaster Resilience in Smallholder Cocoa Systems: Evidence from Santander, Colombia.” It is intended for reproducibility, transparency, and further research on commodity price transmission, environmental stress, agricultural resilience, and ecological economics.
