RDM for early career researchers: Adapting interdisciplinary teaching material to a linguistics context

Abstract

This is a presentation given by Helene N. Andreassen (UiT The Arctic University of Norway) at the CLARIN in University Curricula Workshop, held in Utrecht on 21–22 April 2026. The DocEnhance Data Stewardship course (link) was developed as part of the EU-funded DocEnhance project (2020-2022) and is targeted at PhD candidates across disciplines. The course consists of three modules (an online MOOC, live seminars, and the application of competencies in a non-academic context) and offers a broad, in-depth introduction to research data management. In this talk, I will give a brief introduction to the course and, drawing on my experience with various international projects and initiatives, share some thoughts on how this course could be adapted to a linguistics context.
