This article examines the pedagogical effectiveness of interactive digital platforms in improving mathematics education within modern learning environments. Based on scholarly literature and empirical studies published between 2020 and 2026, the research provides a comparative analysis of GeoGebra and Desmos as leading tools for Dynamic Geometry Environments (DGE) and web-based graphing technologies. The study explores how these platforms enhance mathematical visualization, reduce cognitive load, support collaborative learning, and strengthen real-time formative assessment processes. Findings indicate that GeoGebra is particularly effective for three-dimensional modeling, Computer Algebra System (CAS) applications, and algebraic–geometric integration, while Desmos offers greater accessibility, user-friendly interaction, and efficient classroom synchronization through its dashboard features. The article concludes by recommending a hybrid pedagogical approach that combines the strengths of both platforms to improve students’ long-term understanding, engagement, and spatial problem-solving skills in mathematics learning.
