Abstract

Estes capítulos foram concebidos como uma coletânea científica voltada à discussão de temas relevantes da Atenção Primária à Saúde, promoção da saúde e saúde mental, reunindo análises que abordam desafios contemporâneos relacionados ao cuidado integral da população. A obra propõe uma reflexão ampla sobre estratégias preventivas, educação em saúde, vulnerabilidades sociais e impactos emocionais presentes em diferentes contextos da assistência em saúde, destacando o papel da Atenção Básica como eixo fundamental para promoção do cuidado e fortalecimento das políticas públicas. Fundamentados em evidências científicas recentes e em abordagens interdisciplinares, os capítulos apresentados evidenciam o compromisso acadêmico com a produção de conhecimento crítico, humanizado e aplicável à prática profissional. A diversidade temática da coletânea, contemplando questões como prevenção das Infecções Sexualmente Transmissíveis, saúde do homem, saúde mental universitária, transtornos de ansiedade e estratégias educativas em saúde, demonstra a complexidade dos desafios enfrentados pelos serviços de saúde e reforça a importância de ações integradas, preventivas e centradas nas necessidades da população.
