AI Literacy Compass is a relevance-first and context-driven framework designed to support responsible, inclusive, and meaningful engagement with Artificial Intelligence across education, workforce, governance, industry, and society. The framework introduces a non-linear approach to AI literacy built around four interconnected perspectives: Curious Explorer, Beginner Builder, Aspiring Developer, and Change Maker. Rather than viewing AI literacy as purely technical progression, the framework promotes contextual participation, ethical awareness, governance understanding, critical thinking, and human-centred AI engagement. Aligned with global AI governance and responsible AI principles, including the EU AI Act, UNESCO AI Ethics Recommendations, OECD AI Principles, ISO/IEC 42001, and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework, the AI Literacy Compass aims to support broader societal participation within the evolving AI ecosystem.
