Abstract

The Venus Felix is a sculpture type of Venus (Aphrodite) and her son Cupid. This is a 2nd century AD copy of a Greek original from the 2nd-1st century BC. The portrait head placed on the female figure is often reminiscent of Faustina the Younger.
