Abstract: We will share Glencoe Software’s historical and forthcoming contributions to OME software and the bioimaging community. These contributions span from the maintenance of some of the core OME applications (Bio-Formats, OMERO.server, OMERO.web) to the development of open-source OMERO add-ons. Glencoe’s work is driven by use cases for OMERO Plus, the commercial application built on top of OMERO, which is used by academic and biopharma customers around the world. Topics of upcoming work will include the support of large tabular data for spatial biology (omero2pandas, OMERO.tables) and OME-Zarr efforts including conversion libraries (bioformats2raw, raw2ometiff) and support for this format in cloud deployments of OMERO (omero-zarr-pixel-buffer).
