
This article highlights the goals and objectives of the subject “Engineering and Computer Graphics,” automated design systems, and the significance of the AutoCAD graphic program in the educational process. The study analyzes the development of students’ spatial imagination, technical thinking, and professional-creative competencies through the application of modern CAD technologies in teaching engineering graphics. In addition, the 2D and 3D modeling capabilities of the AutoCAD program, as well as its practical importance in the engineering design process, are scientifically substantiated.
