RIDI–100: Righteous Indignation and Distorted Indignation Inventory — A Comprehensive Diagnostic, Discernment, Counseling, Leadership Ethics, Emotional Regulation, Case Mapping, and Validation System for Distinguishing Wisdom-Governed Moral Courage from Ego-Reactive Hostility, Outrage Addiction, Performative Moralism, and Distorted Indignation under the MCA–IFS Framework

Abstract

The RIDI–100 (Righteous Indignation and Distorted Indignation Inventory) is a comprehensive interdisciplinary psychometric, discernment, counseling, and leadership ethics system developed under the MCA–IFS Framework to distinguish healthy righteous indignation from distorted outrage systems, ego-reactive hostility, emotional impulsivity, self-righteousness, outrage addiction, performative moralism, tribal emotionality, punitive aggression, and dehumanizing confrontation patterns. The RIDI–100 integrates: biblical theology, moral psychology, emotional regulation theory, trauma-informed counseling, discernment theory, leadership ethics, affective neuroscience, relational ethics, and social psychology into a unified multidimensional assessment architecture. The framework addresses a major modern problem: confusing emotional intensity with moral righteousness. The inventory evaluates ten core domains: Moral Clarity & Genuine Justice Orientation Emotional Regulation During Confrontation Humility vs Self-Righteousness Compassion & Preservation of Human Dignity Accountability & Self-Examination Truthfulness vs Exaggeration & Distortion Protective Courage vs Aggressive Domination Outrage Addiction & Emotional Gratification Performative Moralism & Tribal Identity Fusion Redemptive Orientation, Wisdom, and Restorative Justice The RIDI–100 distinguishes: wisdom-governed moral courage, compassionate accountability, and restorative justice orientation from: impulsive hostility, humiliation-based confrontation, tribal outrage systems, emotional addiction to conflict, virtue signaling, and self-righteous domination. The package includes: RIDI–100 SISIF–IRF Instrument SISIF–OSIMF Scoring & Interpretation Manual SISIF–TMS Coaching & Counseling Manual SISIF–CMS Case Mapping Manual VPS-Oriented Validation Pathway Manuscript Leadership Ethics and Discernment Frameworks Restorative Justice and Emotional Regulation Models SISIF–IPG–MLF Copyright & Usage Permit The system is designed for: counseling, leadership development, ministry discernment, emotional regulation training, conflict coaching, psychoeducation, activism ethics, social media behavior analysis, restorative justice formation, and interdisciplinary research. The RIDI–100 contributes to emerging scholarship concerning: righteous indignation, outrage culture, emotional regulation, discernment psychology, performative morality, tribal polarization, moral-emotional maturity, restorative justice, leadership ethics, compassion-centered accountability, and wisdom-oriented confrontation. Developed within the MCA–IFS ecosystem.
