Abstract

Este repositorio contiene los datasets sintéticos y los scripts Python asociados al libro Estadística para Ciencias Sociales: Un enfoque práctico con Excel, Python e Inteligencia Artificial (ISBN 978-628-02-4079-4), de autoría del Dr. J. A. Restrepo Morales, Departamento de Economía, Tecnológico de Antioquia, Medellín, Colombia (2026). Contenido Cinco datasets en formato CSV listos para usar en Power BI, Tableau, Excel o Python: exports_latam.csv — Exportaciones mensuales 2018–2024 de ocho países latinoamericanos en cinco sectores productivos (3.360 filas). Utilizado en el Capítulo 9 (Power BI y Tableau). sem_ecommerce.csv — Respuestas Likert (1–7) de 250 participantes en 12 ítems que miden Facilidad de Uso, Utilidad Percibida, Confianza e Intención de Adopción tecnológica. Utilizado en el Capítulo 8 (Modelos de Ecuaciones Estructurales). agroandes.csv — Serie mensual 2014–2023 de volumen, precio internacional, arancel, flete y tipo de cambio para el caso de exportación de aguacate Hass. Utilizado en el Capítulo 7 (Simulación Monte Carlo). tipo_cambio_historico.csv — Tasa representativa del mercado COP/USD mensual 2014–2023. Utilizado en el Capítulo 7. precios_aguacate.csv — Precios internacionales del aguacate Hass (USD/tonelada) por mercado de destino, 2014–2023. Utilizado en el Capítulo 7. Tres scripts Python ejecutables (cap07_montecarlo.py, cap08_sem.py, cap09_bi.py) que replican los análisis del libro y cargan los datasets directamente desde este repositorio. Público objetivo Estudiantes y profesionales de psicología, sociología, trabajo social, criminología, derecho y políticas públicas que utilizan el libro como texto de referencia, así como docentes que deseen replicar los ejemplos en sus clases.
