Research survey to explore the perceptions and practices of industrial design students at the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco Unit, regarding the use of artificial intelligence in design processes.

Abstract

This questionnaire was designed to explore the perceptions and practices of industrial design students regarding the use of artificial intelligence systems in creative processes. The instrument consists of 12 items: one 5-point Likert-scale question, eight multiple-choice questions, and three open-ended questions. It was administered to a sample of 66 undergraduate students in Industrial Design within a university academic context. The questionnaire enables the analysis of both quantitative and qualitative dimensions, providing empirical evidence on the integration of AI into design education.
