DEVELOPING SUSTAINABLE TOURISM BASED ON GREEN INVESTMENTS

Abstract

Abstract This article comprehensively analyzes the role of green investments in the development of sustainable tourism. The study provides an in-depth coverage of the theoretical foundations of the concept of sustainable tourism, its economic, environmental and social components, and the practical application of green financing instruments. The impact of green bonds, public-private partnership mechanisms and environmental standards on the tourism sector is assessed using international experience. It also analyzes the existing opportunities, institutional problems and investment climate for the development of sustainable tourism in Uzbekistan. The results of the study show that green investments are an important factor in modernizing tourism infrastructure, using resources efficiently and reducing environmental risks. The article develops strategic proposals and practical recommendations aimed at developing sustainable tourism, which will serve to increase economic efficiency and ensure environmental sustainability.
