Nationale Forschungsdateninfrastruktur (NFDI) – Übergang in eine verstetigte NFDI. Position und Perspektiven des Präsidiums der DFG

Abstract

This position paper provides a summary of the aspects which, in the view of the Executive Committee of the Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG, German Research Foundation), must be taken into account in elaborating a permanent footing and in the transition process to such a state during the ongoing planning for a new federal-state agreement within the Joint Science Conference (GWK). In addition to ensuring a stable infrastructure, it is essential to guarantee, in the long term, the needs-based further development of the programme as well as the science-led and community-driven character of the NFDI.
