Abstract

This repository contains the Extended Data used in the study "Perceived Physical Fitness Improvements Through Adapted Sports Programming for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities: A Multi-Stakeholder Qualitative Analysis." The extended data includes the full Interview Guides, Participant Information Sheet, Sample Informed Consent Form, and Thematic Coding Framework used throughout the research process. The interview guides were developed separately for two participant groups — teachers/coaches and parents — and consist of open-ended, semi-structured questions designed to elicit detailed accounts of perceived physical fitness changes, programmatic adaptation strategies, and assessment practices within a community-based adapted sports program. Questions were formulated to be accessible and conversational while maintaining consistency across all fourteen interviews, allowing participants to express their observations and experiences in their own words. The thematic coding framework and codebook document the analytical process used to derive the three key subthemes from the data: observable physical improvements, individualized program adaptation, and assessment and monitoring practices. This codebook supports auditability and transparency of the reflexive thematic analysis conducted following Braun and Clarke's (2006) six-phase framework. All extended data files are provided in both Bahasa Indonesia (original) and English translation to support international reproducibility. This resource supports transparency and reproducibility, enabling other researchers to replicate the data collection approach or adapt it for similar studies in adapted physical activity, special education, or inclusive sport research in resource-constrained settings.
