
This article analyzes the phenomenon of structural and domestic violence against children from a criminological perspective. Based on updated statistics on poverty and inequality, the article explores how systematic conditions infringe upon children’s rights. It presents the main types of violence and their effects on development, alongside the cultural and economic factors that reinforce these dynamics. The main objective is to highlight how structural violence not only creates exclusion but also enables child recruitment in contexts of high social vulnerability.
