D7: Risk Assessment and Management Final Report

Abstract

Deliverable D7 presents the comprehensive results of the risk assessment and managementactivities conducted throughout the duration of the CODECO project, from month 1 to month38. The report provides a consolidated overview of identified risks, their evolution over time, mitigation actions implemented, and the overall effectiveness of the risk managementframework applied by the consortium. This deliverable is submitted in Month 38, one month before the official project closure (M39).The assessment reflects the consolidated risk status up to the date of submission. Based oncurrent monitoring, no critical risks are expected to materialise during the remaining projectperiod, which is primarily dedicated to administrative closure and final reporting activities. From project start to M38, a structured and continuous risk management approach wasmaintained across all work packages. Risks were systematically identified, assessed basedon likelihood and impact, prioritised, and monitored through an updated risk register. Regularreviews ensured early detection of potential deviations and enabled the timely implementationof corrective and preventive measures.During the project lifecycle, most initially identified risks were successfully mitigated or reducedto acceptable levels. Where risks materialised, corrective actions were implemented promptly, minimising impact on technical progress, deliverables, timelines, and overall projectobjectives. In addition, emerging risks identified during implementation were incorporated intothe risk register and managed through adaptive mitigation strategies.
