Handout Predatory Publishing [Deutsche Fassung]

Abstract

Predatory Open Access Journals versprechen die Veröffentlichung wissenschaftlicher Aufsätze und verlangen dafür Publikationsgebühren. Anders als seriöse Open Access-Zeitschriften führen sie jedoch keinen oder nur einen unzureichenden Qualitätssicherungsprozess (z.B. Peer Review) durch. Das Handout informiert über Methoden, Verbreitung und Risiken von Predatory Publishing und gibt anhand einer Checkliste Hinweise, wie unseriöse Anbieter erkannt werden können.
