
This article examines the derivational potential of affixoids in the modern digital environment. It focuses on their role in word formation within internet discourse, social media, and digital communication, as well as their semantic expansion and functional features. The study highlights the differences between affixoids and traditional affixes, emphasizing their dynamic usage and active participation in the creation of new lexical units. It is demonstrated that the digital environment significantly enhances the derivational capacity of affixoids.
