Abstract

This deposit contains a reproducible computational workflow developed in Google Colab for the transformation of TEI-encoded structures. It converts <lg> and <l> elements into <p> paragraphs using Python (lxml), preserving textual content and hierarchical integrity. The repository includes the script, environment specification (requirements.txt), output XML, and documentation. It forms part of the FrutosDigital digital critical-genetic edition project, which integrates TEI encoding, computational philology, and digital humanities methodologies for the study of Colombian literary texts.
