This report provides a preliminary framework for the RELISH consortium’s engagement with culinary Intangible Cultural Heritage (cICH), including background context, methodological orientation, glossary of key terms, and a provisional key to guide future translations of RELISH findings into digital platforms. Its purpose is to establish a shared conceptual basis for consortium collaboration, while remaining flexible and adaptable to evolving disciplinary and community perspectives. The report is a deliverable (D4.1) for the European Union-funded RELISH (Reframing European gastronomy Legacy through Innovation, Sustainability and Heritage) project, which innovates culinary recipes as digital and cultural tools to promote cultural heritage and connect with emerging adults.
