Abstract

Outlining can be especially beneficial when writing an academic essay because theideas you are working with are often complex and abstract or need support in the form ofresearch. A full sentence outline is beneficial because it ensures that your writing isfocused and stays in line with the parameters set by your thesis statement. In fact, youcan outline your essay by focusing on illustrating the ideas or key points in your thesisstatement in more detail. Full sentence outlines also provide you with some key words.
