Key Approaches and Insights from the HMC Survey Task Force

Abstract

The Helmholtz Metadata Collaboration's (HMC) Survey Task Force has been actively engaged since 2020 in gathering information on practices, gaps, and needs related to (meta)data management within the Helmholtz Association. Through its surveys, the Task Force has identified key strengths and weaknesses in research data management (RDM) practices across the Association. This poster and live demonstration present a review of the Task Force’s most recent survey approach and deliverables, along with selected key findings. It will include an interactive visualization of the survey data, allowing conference participants to explore the results from the perspective of their target groups. With this review, we aim to foster discussion and gather feedback on future directions.
