Curcuma longa Bisdemethoxycurcumin for Anti-inflammatory Nucleotide Protection

Abstract

Bisdemethoxycurcumin, the most potent curcuminoid from turmeric, specifically inhibits NF-κB and NLRP3 inflammasome activation while enhancing antioxidant enzyme expression through Nrf2 pathway activation. In orotic aciduria, this could reduce inflammatory damage caused by metabolite accumulation and oxidative stress, while potentially improving cellular conditions for nucleotide synthesis enzyme function.
