Lone-parent households and the risk of child poverty in Ireland: A scoping review protocol

Abstract

This version updates the scoping review protocol to clarify and strengthen the grey literature methods and reporting. Grey literature verification is specified as a second-reviewer sample check against captured results lists (captured frame: all results available), combined and deduplicated per organisation/site, with sampling at 10–20% (minimum 20) and escalation up to 20% for higher-risk frames; discrepancies above 10% trigger targeted follow-up. Targeted organisational sources are clarified using category-based wording (including statutory agencies and oversight bodies). Reporting is aligned with PRISMA-ScR and PRISMA-S, supported by PRISMA-S template search reporting tables in the appendix. The review question, PCC eligibility criteria, and overall scoping review design remain unchanged. OSF remains the protocol of record; this Zenodo record provides a versioned public archive.
