MTN Hydro is a UAE-based infrastructure concept developer advancing a mountain-integrated pumped hydro storage approach for long-duration energy infrastructure. This white paper presents the MTN Hydro concept, the engineering logic behind its multi-level mountain-integrated storage architecture, its indicative strategic advantages in suitable topographies, and the principal technical constraints that must be addressed through further validation. The document is intended for early-stage institutional, strategic, and technical discussion. It does not constitute an independent engineering report, a bankable feasibility study, or a site-specific design package. The paper outlines the concept definition, differentiation from conventional pumped hydro layouts, indicative reference parameters, key geotechnical and hydraulic risks, preliminary site-screening criteria, and the next-stage technical work required before pre-feasibility. This record includes the English reference version of the white paper. An Arabic companion version may be made available separately for regional institutional use.
