Abstract

Se propone una reflexión sobre el diseño y el uso de la Inteligencia Artificial -IA- desde la ontología wayuu, a partir de la experiencia cultural de nombrar los elementos que llegan al territorio y del valor pedagógico de las historias de origen asociadas a cada uno de ellos en el pueblo wayuu. El objetivo, es ofrecer criterios para el tratamiento de la IA que reconozcan la centralidad de la oralidad y del pensamiento propio, evitando su subordinación frente a lógicas tecnológicas externas, como ha ocurrido previamente con la imposición de la ortografía del español y con ciertas propuestas ortográficas para las lenguas indígenas. La investigación se desarrolló mediante una metodología de consulta bibliográfica y análisis teórico, con apoyo en la morfología del cuento maravilloso, la semiótica narrativa y la noción de shokoto, entendida como tejido vivo de la palabra. Como aporte, el estudio plantea una lectura intercultural de la Inteligencia Artificial que dialoga con el wayuunaiki y el wayuwaa, situando la tecnología dentro de una trama simbólica y narrativa propia. Se concluye que, la incorporación de la Inteligencia Artificial en escenarios educativos indígenas requiere un abordaje respetuoso del pensamiento ancestral, en el cual la tecnología sea comprendida como parte de un proceso narrativo y simbólico, y no como un mecanismo que reordena o desplaza los saberes orales.
