
The article analyzes the evolution of interstate relations between the Republic of Uzbekistan and the Republic of Korea over a period of thirty-four years. The author examines the transition from basic diplomatic recognition to the status of a special strategic partnership. Particular attention is paid to the 2017–2026 period, characterized by the intensification of technology transfer, cooperation in the field of critical minerals, and digital transformation. The study traces South Korea's role as a key modernizer of Uzbekistan's economy within the context of a shifting geopolitical architecture.
