LAMOST DR9 LRS Radial Velocities: Segment-Consistency & Zero-Point Corrected Catalog(LRS, v1.1)

Abstract

This Zenodo record provides the value-added line-of-sight velocity (RV) catalog for LAMOST DR9 LRS, constructed by correcting both wavelength-dependent segment-to-segment inconsistencies and hierarchical global zero-point offsets at the spectrograph and fiber levels. The catalog includes observational and instrumental data (e.g., obsid, planid, spid, fiberid, observing date and MJD, and fiber-pointing coordinates), multi-band signal-to-noise ratios (snru/snrg/snrr/snri/snrz), target identifiers and cross-match information (uid, designation, gp_id, Gaia DR3 source_id, and Gaia G-band median magnitude), as well as stellar atmospheric parameters from LASP (T_{\rm eff}, \log g, [\mathrm{Fe/H}]) and their uncertainties. Based on these quantities, we provide the corrected heliocentric radial velocity rv_corr (km s^{-1}) and its uncertainty rv_corr_err (km s^{-1}), enabling straightforward use in kinematic analyses and uncertainty propagation. The resulting RVs show substantially improved consistency, with cross-night repeat scatter reduced from ~3.6 to ~1.8 km s⁻¹ at high S/N (single-measurement precision ~1.3 km s⁻¹), and external dispersions against APOGEE/Gaia reduced from ~4.0 to ~2.0 km s⁻¹. The catalog contains ~5.7 million spectra and is intended as a homogeneous, systematically corrected RV dataset for Galactic and stellar-kinematics studies. Users should refer to the most recently released version of this dataset.
