
GenusChaetophilosciaVerhoeff, 1908 Parachaetophiloscia Cruz & Dalens, 1990, p. 94, new synonymy. Type species. Philoscia elongata Dollfus, 1884. Diagnosis. Cephalon without frontal line and with suprantennal line; left mandible with 2 + 1 penicils; right mandible with 1 + 1 penicils; both mandibles with a dichotomized molar process; maxilla inner branch lacking posterior point; maxilliped endite without penicil; simple scale-setae; presence of epimeral grooves; dactyli of pereopods with outer claw and interungual seta not enlarged; pleotelson triangular; and uropods with endopod and exopod inserted at the same level.
