PSYCHOLOGICAL PREPARATION OF BOXERS

Abstract

Abstract This article systematically analyzes the aspects of mental, emotional and motivational preparation of boxers before and during a fight. The study covers such key areas as focus and concentration, coping with stress and fear, self-confidence and motivation, as well as psychological adaptation to a fighting strategy. Special attention is paid to the role of the coach — functions such as emotional support, motivation, tactical advice, stress management and maintaining focus are explained with theoretical and practical examples. Literature analysis, questionnaires, observation and standard psychological tests (e.g., SAS, ACSI) are proposed as methodologies; The results show that targeted psychological preparation enhances performance and that coaching intervention plays a critical role.
