Searching For The Parity Doublet Of 229Pa Using Internal Conversion Electron Spectroscopy At FRIB

Abstract

This poster was presented by Maggie Tseng at the Midwest Cold Atom Workshop (MCAW) which took place at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign on November 9, 2025. The poster describes what is known about Pa-229 so far, the motivation behind a search for a low-lying state of Pa-229, our plans to conduct this search, and how an EDM-type experiment might be done.
