Sport, in general, is a tool for development. It is a very effective way to develop motor skills, since training involves constant repetition of movements in a specific sequence. Adaptive sport, like adaptive physical education, is a social model of rehabilitation. However, unlike physical education, it is aimed at achieving results. Each person must choose an adaptation according to their own abilities, taking into account the type of disease. Adapted sport helps to improve health, while also developing coordination, balance, endurance and agility.
