ABSTRACT According to the Pareto Principle, also known as the 80/20 rule, 20% of causes account for about 80% of outcomes. This idea provides a strong framework for determining the disproportionate impact of a small number of clinical, patient-related, surgical, prosthetic, and biological factors on the majority of implant failures and complications when it comes to implant dentistry. This review thoroughly examines the main domains—systemic risk factors, bone quality, surgical technique, peri-implant disease, prosthetic design, and patient compliance—through which the Pareto Principle appears in implant dentistry. | selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
