This repository contains the complete code and dataset of the European energy system model PERSEUS-PtX, a member of the PERSEUS model family. The model enables the analysis of European energy system transformation pathways with a particular focus on hydrogen and reactive metals. All components required for model runs and for the production of results, including processed output diagrams, are included. Background information on the model’s development, key features, and detailed instructions for execution and citation are provided in the accompanying README file. Funding is gratefully acknowledged, including support from the following organizations: Stiftung Energieforschung Baden-Württemberg, European Institute for Energy Research (EIFER), German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs (BMWi/BMWK/BMWE), German Federal Ministry for the Environment, Climate Protection, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety (BMU/BMUB/BMUV/BMUKN), German Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF), Baden-Württemberg Ministry for the Environment, Climate and Energy Sector, VolkswagenStiftung, Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft Deutscher Forschungszentren e.V., European Commission, Interreg, Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft (DFG), Projekt- und Studienfonds der schweizerischen Elektrizitätswirtschaft, BKW Energie AG, and Kraftwerke Oberhasli AG.

| selected citations These citations are derived from selected sources. This is an alternative to the "Influence" indicator, which also reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | 0 | |
| popularity This indicator reflects the "current" impact/attention (the "hype") of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network. | Average | |
| influence This indicator reflects the overall/total impact of an article in the research community at large, based on the underlying citation network (diachronically). | Average | |
| impulse This indicator reflects the initial momentum of an article directly after its publication, based on the underlying citation network. | Average |
