Presentation at the Jornada d’Innovació Docent La Salle, Barcelona, 3 July 2018. In the subject “Systems of Representation” of the programme of the School of Architecture La Salle we apply a rubric-based evaluation system to assess student learning. The rubric is jointly designed with the learning activity. Our experience of applying rubrics to learning outcomes in recent years has revealed both potential and limitations. Based on this experience, enhancements to make the current evaluation procedures more effective are proposed.
