
This article examines the methodological foundations for the sustainable development of tourism villages inUzbekistan. The study aims to systematize conceptual, managerial, infrastructural, and evaluative approaches to tourismvillage development and to propose an integrated methodological framework applicable to Uzbekistan. The researchis based on a systems approach, comparative analysis, document analysis, and conceptual synthesis. The findingsshow that tourism villages should be interpreted not merely as rural locations with tourism potential, but as integrateddestination systems combining local resources, accommodation facilities, service chains, community participation,destination governance, and sustainability indicators
