Abstract

This analysis extends the pre-registered retrospective survey by applying the exact same inclusion/exclusion criteria, legitimacy tiers, splashless coding rules (strict positive indication of no disturbance/smooth/silent transition), Data Extraction Form, and secondary variables to two distinct classes of water-interface objects. The split is exploratory/descriptive (Tier 3/4 emphasis) but maintains all pre-registered comparator logic, decision thresholds, and blinded-coding principles. Key Insight: Splashless transition occurs at rates exceeding pre-registered Moderate Support thresholds (25–39%) in both classes, with luminous orbs showing a modestly higher signal. This is inconsistent with random narrative embellishment or ordinary ballistic entry. Non-luminous cases often emphasize “metallic” or “solid” appearance with silent/no-disturbance entry/exit.
