SÍNDROME DO IMPACTO DO OMBRO

Abstract

A síndrome do impacto do ombro é uma das causas mais comuns de dor nessa articulação, resultante da compressão dos tendões do manguito rotador no espaço subacromial. Está associada a alterações biomecânicas, sobrecarga e degeneração tendínea. Metodologia: Revisão narrativa baseada em artigos científicos das bases PubMed e Scopus, publicados entre 2010 e 2024, incluindo estudos observacionais e revisões sistemáticas. Resultados: Os pacientes apresentam dor ao elevar o braço, especialmente acima da cabeça, além de limitação funcional. Testes clínicos como Neer e Hawkins-Kennedy auxiliam no diagnóstico. Exames de imagem, como ultrassonografia e ressonância, podem confirmar alterações estruturais. O tratamento inicial é conservador, incluindo fisioterapia e anti-inflamatórios. Discussão: A fisioterapia tem papel central na reabilitação, com foco no fortalecimento muscular e correção da biomecânica. Em casos refratários, pode-se indicar intervenção cirúrgica. A progressão da doença pode levar a lesões completas do manguito rotador. Conclusão: O diagnóstico precoce e o tratamento adequado são fundamentais para prevenir complicações e preservar a função do ombro.
