Abstract

--- This study presents a method for spatial re-representation of gravitational-wave phase structure using an observational indicator ν_eff derived from phase residuals. The indicator ν_eff is constructed from curvature features and principal component modes of the phase residual β(f), which represents the phase difference between observed signals and general relativity (GR) templates. Using publicly available gravitational-wave data (GWOSC), ν_eff is computed for multiple events and mapped onto celestial coordinates (RA, Dec) extracted from skymaps. The resulting distribution is visualized through scatter plots and interpolated contour maps. The results show that ν_eff is not spatially uniform and is expressed as a continuous field with gradient structures and localized variations. In particular, band-like spatial patterns are visually identifiable. This work does not claim the existence of an underlying physical structure, but shows that observational phase-derived quantities can be represented as spatial fields. This study provides a foundation for future statistical validation and physical interpretation.
