Corpus of Argentine Academic Journals on Literature and Language (1982–2024)

Abstract

This corpus contains 1,967 scientific articles (as plain text files with metadata) drawn from seven Open Access Argentine academic journals: Anclajes (Universidad Nacional de La Pampa), Auster (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), Cuadernos de Literatura (Universidad Nacional del Sur), Cuadernos del CILHA (Universidad Nacional de Cuyo), Orbis Tertius (Universidad Nacional de La Plata), Revista de Culturas y Literaturas Comparadas (Universidad Nacional de Córdoba), and Saga (Universidad Nacional de Rosario). The journals span six universities across five Argentine provinces. All were founded as print publications between 1982 and 2007 and transitioned to digital open access between 2011 and 2020. Each article includes temporal and institutional metadata (publication year, journal). This dataset accompanies the article "From Literary Criticism to Literary Studies: Topic Modeling Argentine Academic Journals (1982–2024)," accepted at the 5th Annual Conference of Computational Literary Studies (CCLS 2026).
