Abstract

All input variables were derived from the 2021 Census of Population and Housing (Czech Statistical Office), which represents the most recent comprehensive source of socio-demographic and housing data available at the micro-spatial level in Czechia. Census data were selected due to their full spatial coverage, internal consistency, and suitability for micro-scale analysis. The use of micro-spatial units with small population sizes entails specific methodological limitations. Index values in these units may be strongly influenced by relatively minor changes in input variables, resulting in increased statistical instability. For this reason, units with very small populations (<50) were excluded from analysis.
