Abstract

The development of digital technology has driven innovation in the learning process, one of which is through the use of digital-based learning media. This study aims to describe the effect of digital learning media use on students' learning motivation. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach and was conducted with 10th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Kalianget in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection was conducted using a learning motivation questionnaire structured based on several aspects, namely learning enthusiasm, activeness, perseverance, and goal orientation, with a total of 20 positive questions using a Likert scale. Data were analyzed using percentage analysis. The results showed that the use of digital learning media was categorized as very good, with high percentages for each indicator: frequency of use (82.5%), ease of access (82.1%), interestingness (85.6%), and effectiveness (84.3%). Furthermore, students' learning motivation was also categorized as very good. Specifically, the aspects of learning enthusiasm (82.5%), activeness (79.3%), persistence (84.3%), and goal orientation (88%) showed high to very high results. These findings indicate that the use of digital-based learning media can increase student learning motivation, making it an effective, engaging, and relevant alternative learning medium in the digital age.
