This dataset provides optical observations of a red sprite event recorded over Xinjiang, China, on the night of 13 May 2025. It includes four components: Observation, Calibration, Processed lightning data and Sprite location results. These data support the investigation of sprite occurrence and their spatial relationship to the parent thunderstorm system.
