Topological Defect Matter as a Unified Framework for Dark Matter and Dark Energy

Abstract

We propose a cosmological framework in which dark matter, baryonic matter, and darkenergy arise as different phases or topological defects of a fundamental scalar field. The modelpredicts suppression of small-scale structure, smooth galactic cores, absence of direct detectionsignals, and a stochastic gravitational wave background. This provides a testable alternative tothe standard ΛCDM cosmology.
