Before I Had Language Pre-Formal Observations Underlying the Lantern of Sulfur Framework, Lantern of Sulfur, v12, March 2026

Abstract

This preprint presents the original observational foundation of the Lantern of Sulfur (LoS) framework. It captures pre-formal pattern recognition of a coordinated physiological system linking hydration, bile signaling, electrolyte balance, and neuroendocrine regulation. Unlike later mechanistic papers, this document reflects early-stage recognition of system behavior prior to the introduction of structured models such as the Vertical Terrain Axis and Directional Pressure Failure. These observations remain structurally consistent with subsequent work and provide a clear entry point into the LoS framework. This document is intentionally non-technical and is intended to precede more detailed mechanistic and clinical interpretations within the LoS research series. This work is part of the Lantern of Sulfur (LoS) framework, a systems-level model of electrolyte balance, RAAS signaling, and physiological coordination.
