Psychographic Questionnaire Dataset on Young Migrants in Reception Contexts in Spain (N = 57)

Abstract

His dataset contains 57 psychographic questionnaires collected in the context of qualitative research on migration, belonging, emotional experience and reception processes in Spain. The data were generated through an open-ended questionnaire designed to explore participants’ narratives about place of origin, migration journeys, emotions, coping strategies, arrival experiences, current living conditions, future expectations and suggestions for improving inclusion in host contexts. The dataset includes basic sociodemographic variables, such as sex, date of birth and country of birth, together with rich narrative responses addressing sensory memories of origin, imagined representations of Spain, emotionally significant episodes, travel experiences, symbolic descriptions of migration, perceived difficulties and resources, current wellbeing, and future aspirations. The material is particularly relevant for research in migration studies, qualitative methods, psychosocial wellbeing, belonging, intercultural education and arts-based or narrative approaches. Due to the sensitive nature of the data, reuse should follow appropriate ethical and data protection standards.
